What my barking spider sounds like

These sound effects are the closest thing to a formal introduction I have managed. Headphones are optional; timing is everything.

A memory becomes tidier every time you tell it. A notebook tends to remain inconveniently specific. Mine includes the shopping list, the window measurements, and three different accounts of the same Thursday. The ordinary details are the ones I find myself coming back to.

How to compare the recordings

Listen for the first attack, the number of pulses, and how long the sound remains after the source stops. A room echo can make a short source seem much longer. Describing those features is more useful than turning the volume up.
